Ethical Sourcing Commitment

At Avenrel, protecting human rights and maintaining fair labor practices are foundational to how we operate. We follow a rigorous Supplier Code of Conduct and support the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act along with other international efforts focused on preventing forced labor, human trafficking, and other unlawful labor practices.

Supplier Verification

Every supplier working with Avenrel must formally acknowledge and comply with our Supplier Standards of Business Practice. These requirements explicitly ban child labor, coerced labor, and any activity connected to human trafficking.

Auditing Practices

To ensure that our expectations are consistently met, Avenrel stays in regular contact with all manufacturing partners and conducts both planned and unannounced inspections. These evaluations help verify that each facility upholds our ethical and labor guidelines, including our strict prohibition of child labor and trafficking.

Annual Certifications

Suppliers are required to provide yearly documentation confirming that their operations—and the operations of their subcontractors—remain free from forced labor and human trafficking. They must also comply with all relevant laws and regulations in their respective jurisdictions.

Internal Responsibility

Avenrel holds its team members to the same high ethical standards. Any employee who violates laws related to forced labor or human trafficking faces disciplinary consequences, which may include termination.

Training & Awareness

We offer continuous training for employees involved in sourcing and supply chain oversight. These programs help our team identify potential risks, understand our ethical requirements, and respond effectively to concerns within the supply chain.

Corrective Measures

If a supplier is found to be out of compliance with our standards, Avenrel may require immediate corrective action or terminate the partnership altogether.
